Hello, Lucy Here!
My PA aka Mummy got an email from PR company, Feref, who are organising a special ‘Doggy Dinner’ for the release of the new animated Universal film ‘The Secret Life Of Pets’. They wanted to know if I would like to attend? Erm, like I had to think about the answer to that question, when it has the word ‘dinner’ in the invite!
We travelled down to London on the train (I’m quite the seasoned traveller now you know) and then got a taxi to the super swanky Rosewood Hotel. We were directed to a room that had been hired especially for the event and my eyes lit up when I saw lots of doggies for me to make friends with! There were some gorgeous Instagram dog stars and Mummy got a bit star struck when she met Youtube celeb Arne, if you haven’t already seen this video it’s a must watch! View Here!
I got to have a relaxing canine massage, well a busy girl needs to find time to relax you know! There was also a pamper area, where I was given a pretty bow for my harness, a spray of dog-friendly glitter (so I could shine even brighter) and my personal favourite – a bag of treats!
Then I pawed my way to the doggy buffet area; it was crammed full of yummy mini treats by Daisy’s Dog Deli who are one of my favourite bakeries, so I was super excited! I wanted the PA just to put me straight on the table so I could help myself, but she said something about manners and letting the other dogs have some so I had to restrain myself. BUT big brownie points for me – we got a goodie bag of treats to bring home for my sisters as well as a box of scrumptious biscuits by Love Sniffys.
At this point I had a snooze in the PA’s arms, upside down of course! I needed a power nap as there was a big Hollywood star about to arrive and I wanted to look my best!
Then in walked actor and comedian Kevin Hart – he is also the voiceover of the rabbit in The Secret Life Of Pets. There was a film crew and lots of flashes from cameras, he’s a big star you know! I was a bit disappointed he didn’t know who I was, being a fellow celebrity and all that, but hey he does live over the pond!
I’m really loving my new repawting role, so if you have an event you think I would love to attend please get in touch with my PA via my Facebook page.
Ps, I think I could give Kevin Hart a run for his money as the rabbit in the film, what do you think?
And remember, always consider adoption if you can, us rescue dogs are pretty awesome you know.
