What a pawsome day we had at the Old Hunstanton Flower Festival Dog Show, organised by your friends at The Barking Bugle. The sun was shining, tails were wagging and there were smiles everywhere as dogs and their humans gathered for a wonderful afternoon of fun.
First of all, a huge thank you to the Old Hunstanton Flower Festival for inviting us to be part of their fantastic event. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the festival and we were delighted to add a little canine magic to the day. We’d also like to say a big thank you to Anchorage Barn Vets for kindly sponsoring our beautiful rosettes.
Now, on to the important bit ..… the winners!
🌸 Prettiest Girl – Blondie & Daniella

🦮 Most Handsome Boy – Pesto & Jonathan

👀 Most Appealing Eyes – Dottie & Ella

💛 Waggiest Tail – Mick & Shaun

🏡 Best Rescue – Bonbon & Jo

🐶 Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home – Tessie & Neil & Vicky

Then came the big moment that had every tail twitching with excitement…
🏆 Reserve Best in Show – Dottie & Ella
👑 Best in Show – Bonbon & Jo

A massive round of appaws to all our winners! Of course, every single dog who came along was a winner in my eyes. Whether you strutted around the ring like a seasoned show dog or simply enjoyed making new furry friends, you all helped make the afternoon so special.
I also have to give a special wag of appreciation to our wonderful judge who had the impossible task of choosing between so many gorgeous dogs. Believe me, I wouldn’t have wanted that job—I’d have given everyone a rosette (and probably a biscuit too!).
Thank you to everyone who entered, cheered from the sidelines, helped behind the scenes, or simply stopped to say hello. The Barking Bugle loves bringing our local dog-loving community together and events like this remind us just how lucky we are to have so many wonderful dogs and dedicated owners.
Until next time, keep those tails wagging, noses sniffing and paws muddy!
Love,
Ziggy Bear 🐾
